Guys,

No one listed the Matchbox 1/72nd kit! Not bad, to be honest, I just built one. Windscreen-to-fuselage joint is awful, but the rest of the bird went together pretty well!

Of course, I screwed up the windscreen with some excess super glue, so I ended up painting over all of the windows to make it look halfway decent, but the kit itself was a pretty easy and fun build. Unfortunately, our 'Hooks are all VERY boring, with no unit marks or anything on them, so painting and decaling was a breeze.

The 'Fort Hunter' is a typo in the kit then, and not by oldhooker. I have the same kit in my stash and have 'Fort Hunter' in my decal options as well.

I have produced a list similar to oldhooker's, and to save space, here's a few extra bits I have:

Kits: Revell MH-47E or HC Mk3
After Market: Resin replacement blades for Italeri and Airfix kits by Whlrlybits Accesories #72034

After Market Decals:
Belcher Bits BD11A Canadian CH-147 1975-91
SIAM Decals 72013 Royal Thai Army
Flight Nutz 72009 RSAF CH-47SD (Singapore)
The Aviation Workshop 72119 RAF HC1 Chinooks – future release Nov 05

Fort Hunter?

I think that musta been a typo.

Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah GA, about a 45 minute drive to the north of Fort Stewart GA, on I-95.

Not sure what their designation is now, but I was with the unit in 80-81 and again from 95-97. They operated As when I was there the first time and traded them in for Ds around 84 or 85. I'm not sure if "Hercules" ever operated CH-47Cs. It was 132nd Aviation Company in 81 when I left and was B Co, 2/159th Avn Regt when I returned in 95.

Not sure of what their designation is now.

Hmmm.... no, I can't find any reference to a Hasegawa ACH-47. BTW: The Eduard PE is specifically designed for the Italeri kit, so you're safe! Wink [;)]
