MH-47G 'Glass' Cockpit
Posted by DPD1 on Thursday, October 27, 2005 5:53 PM
4 MH-47D/E flew through SoCal the other day. Unfortunately, I didn't have a radio, so I didn't get a call. I'm thinking they might have been from the new Det up in WA, and flew down here.

It got me thinking about the G model though, and I found a photo this guy has of the new avionics suite in the rebuild. Wow... That's a lot of glass. I don't think the C-17 even has that much CRT area.

Thanks Dave!

Impressive display indeed!! Mark Morgan has the most detailed site on Chinooks that exist!

Take care,
