Has anyone built this kit? I just won one on Ebay and was wondering if anyone had built this yet and how is it as far as detail and complexity. Looking forward to getting busy with all the resin. Thanks.

As far as detail and complexity goes, Accurate Armour certainly looks like they really know what they are doing in that department. And frankly, for a 1/35 Lynx, we don't have any other options. Lord knows I'd love to have one of those babies in my collection, but the price is just ridiculous!

As far as price goes....$204.00 which includes shipping, is about $100.00 less than I have seen it anywhere else. My fiancee was HOT !!!!!......but that's only because I bid on it before she could. She loves to build models just as much as I do. She wanted to get it for me for Christmas. I will be more than happy to post some pics of the layout of the parts and other pics as I build the kit. Should not have to wait too long, as I paid for it as soon as I won and it should be coming via air mail.

I have this kit, having bought it from Accurate Armour direct at a show in Scotland. The parts are fabulous and the detail has to be seen to be believed. It will repay very careful planning, close attention to the 'building guidance' book and as many good photo references as you can get your hands on. The company say that this is a specialist kit and is not like a boxed plastic kit with the usual instructions - I fully agree with that statement! Care, research and huge amounts of patience will be required...... I hope to start mine early in 2006, as a virtually full-time commitment to a large sponsored museum model build is occupying my time and that of the rest of the Aberdeen Modellers Society until late March '06. Once that's finished, it's into the Accurate Armour box...... Enjoy.
