Trigger made me do it! Whiskey Cobra Photos!

Hey guys,

Well, I came across a dozen photos that a buddy of mine took for me at the Andrews AFB airshow last year. They're shots of an HMLA-269 Whiskey Cobra. Grant, in his infinite wisdom, urged me to post em, so here they are,
enjoy!

Great photos Jon! Thanks a lot for posting them. I can't think of a finer squadron to be depicted Wink [;)]

Exellent photos, its amazing where you find solutions to your modelling issues. I am interested in the close-ups of the zues fasteners on the tail boom for my huey!
Until now I imagined them in the wrong orientation.
I stand corrected!

I take it the wing stores imbalance is strictly for the statc display. Would you ever launch with a Hellfire/TOW mix like that?

BTW - Nice shots loaded with details!

USMC routinely uses the TOW/Hellfire mix. It gives them a little better capability to have both on board to choose from.

It's nice to have two engines. Army Cobras had to mind their Ps and Qs a lot closer when it came to weight and balance, especially in desert and tropical regions where the air can get thinner from the heat.

Cool... They had the external tank on the one they had out at Miramar this year. Which I actually preferred more then the weapons, because I never got to see one up close before.
