"Ramp up, ready in the rear"

Was referring to the ACH-47, who's ramp went up after the FE jumped on board, and remained up throughout the mission.

Sorry - been lagging with my posts...

I stopped by my "local neighborhood hobbyshop" and asked the guy there if he had any info about Panda releasing the 1/35 Chinook - even asked for a brochure. He said (and i quote), "Oh yeah, they're on backorder". HA!!!

Yeah right buddy! He doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground. I can't believe he had the nerve to tell me that......hell he was the "R/C guy".....what does he know?

I tell ya' - HobbyTown USA sure does have some top-notch employees. Needless to say, i was turned off by the whole damn thing and refuse to go back.

Anywho - still waiting on the release.....and no, the fine folks at Panda have yet to return my email - typical.

Anyone got the skinny on the Chinook situation?

Hope they haven't cancelled them!

Glad to see it back open and glad to hear a quality report... I was kinda hoping they were adding the Chinook's to their "New Items" list.... maybe one day.

Thanks for the replies!

...and kits are available. Just purchased their 1/144 B-1b. The plastic is well molded, the engraving is very fine. Can't say much as yet about accuracy. Decals are water-slide stuff, a bit on the thick side mabe and definitely glossy, à la Monogram. Price was a killer! Barely $10... I think I'm gonna get some more of their stuff.

Hey fellows...

As bad as I hate to mention it, the Panda Models website has been down for a few days now, as I've been trying to gleam some info on the proposed 1/35 CH-47 line.Question [?]

The VLS site has removed the Chinooks from their "Coming Soon" section[:0], and their telephone operator tells me that they have no further information regarding a release date......Angry [:(!]

I'm trying my best to ignore what my insides are telling me....Disapprove [V]
