umm there is a few 48th scale revell/monogram vietnam helo's.  The kit wasn't that great but I built a UH-1E from them recently

Vietnam era in 48th scale from Monogram, only one.  The UH-1B/C.  Not really a good representation of either, but a starting point for alot of work.

The AH-1S Cobra was a Post-VN era bird.

None that I know of from AM companies in 1/35.  DMLs US Helicopter Crew, Vietnam has one M60 and one M60D on an M23 door mount in each set.  The DML set is hard to come by though.  In 1/32, Cobra Company does a set of 2 complete M23 door mounts with M60Ds.

DML set.

Cobra Company set.

Those M-60s look pretty good, but you'll still need the mounts for them.  I didn't see the on that photo.  Also will need the 7.62 ammo cans.

Why, oh why do we have to work so hard to build one of the must ubiquitous aircraft of all times??

Come on Monogram, how about a series of 48th scale Vietnam era helicopters??  Before we, that flew them, all die!!

Cutting Edge Modelworks make a 1/48 white metal M-60 set for the UH-60.  I bought some a couple months ago, and I think they look pretty good.  You can order them from Meteor Productions.

At the bottom of the page is a search catalog link, search for M-60.

1/48 m-60s were exactly what I was looking for, too.  I just tried the email link and it is not working.  Does anyone know if any U.S. companies carry this line of products?

M 60 side gun for a UH-1D slick

I'm looking for two M-60s in 1/48th scale for the door mounts of my old AMT/ERTL UH-1D. This kit came with side rockets and mini guns.  Everything I've found says that the USA didn't use this configureation for the UH-1D, Aussie's did though.  I'm going to make mine a slick so I may need to do some scratch building in small scale.  If anyone knows of any after market that I've missed, let me know.  ThanksSad [:(]
