i am building revell's 1/72nd scale skycrane

the body is a little bit warped so i used tenax 7r  i never had problems with tenax but it would not hold the stress  WOW

so now it is holding the tail area ok

the front i am using putty and melted sprue to fill the gaps

a bit of a dissapointment  but live and learnSad [:(]

by the time i finish it with all the added weight of the sprue and putty everywhere i will have to build another one to lift it

I have the same kit waiting in my collection along with the Tamiya 1/100.  That kit was built in the 60s so it's showing it's age.  I remember seeing them fly over our high school from time to time.  I hope mine's not in the same condition.  Aurora also had a kit of that monster.  As I remember, the fit was fairly good but it didn't have much in the way of detail.
