Thanks Bossman.  I was curious as to the paint scheme of the Sea Kings of that era, with the high-vis red throughout, I've seen various schemes with red stripes along the sponsons and fuselage.  Does anyone know if that was for a dual role of search and rescue?

Very nice job - and nice presentation.  I like the way the exhaust staining worked out - that's a sharp looking Sea King.

Looks great... The base is a nice touch. Your instructor must have liked that.

There are some really talented builders here, I especially liked HeavyArty's work, such as the UH-1N ( my favorite helo of all-time.)

Thanks, glad you like it.

Hey thanks guys for the replies.  I appriciate it.   Took me about 7 months to complete, with the display and all.  I built it for my flight instructor who flew the Sea King throughout his career, starting in Vietnam.  I  rushed towards the end, wanting to give it to him before he left for vacation, so I noticed some blems in areas.  There are some really talented builders here, I especially liked HeavyArty's work, such as the UH-1N ( my favorite helo of all-time.)
