Well I live & learn, thanks for that.

This one will end up in South African markings.

Thanks for the reply, Pete,

The Fujimi kit also was M-030, in grey and orange. It has been a long time but there might have been pilot figures in the Fujimi, so I would guess that your kit is a Fujimi rebox.

Well that's better than a Heller anyway!! (Heller has always had problems with scales: the Alouette too big, Puma, Dauphin and Gazelle too small...)

regards, Gertjan

Okay, there are no makers names on the sprues. The fuselage (unbuilt) is just under 7 1/2 inches.

There are two crew figures who seem to be around 1/72 scale!

The decals are for a Danish machine, M-030 in grey & orange

All in all, it's fairly crude & I suspect, not 1/48th.

Sorry, Gertjan, no camera, it stopped working & I simply haven't gotten around to replacing it.

I'll have a close look at the sprues tomorrow to see if there are any clues as to their origins & I''

get back to you. The info you gave is useful though, I had no idea Heller made them, the scale is

a long way from 1/48th, but their Puma is nearer 1/50th I think.

Hi Pete,

The two 1:48 Alouette III's I know of are by Heller (very basic, scale is more 1:40) and Fujimi. The Fujimi-kit also came in Danish livery, so maybe your Dexim (never heard of it!) is a Fujimi-rebox. The Fujimi-kit was better than the Heller, but still had the front glazing wrong. I would like to know more about your kit! Would it be possible to post some sprue pics?

Thanks, Gertjan

Never heard of Dexim.  Revell does a 1/32 kit though.

Dexim Alouette III info?

In England recently I found in a junk shop a kit of the Aerospatiale Alouette III,  by a German company, Dexim. It's in 1/48th with Danish markings. I wondered if anyone on here had built it, or even heard of the company? It's a new one to me, yet the box looks at least ten years old? One of the South African pilots here had asked me to find an Alouette & build it for him in SAAF colours.

Cheers

Pete
