Just picked this kit up at Hobby Lobby tonight (HALF PRICE SALE)Big Smile [:D] and was wondering if the kit has any problems. I've not built a helicopter in a long while and any tips or suggestions is very welcome.

Welcome back to the world of whirleybirds!

There are a number of threads concerning the Academy UH-60 series in this forum.  I have not built the DAP but the UH-60L is not too bad.  Sure you can pick at it but it is a good kit.  Check out the Super 61 thread.  I think that will give you some idea about the kit but I think that a slick was the starting point.  If you can't find the answers that you need just ask.  Many here can get information and photos of most anything that you need.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome]

I have this bird in my stash, but I'm currently building a Pavehawk which is pretty much the same as the DAP (I'm talking about the model kit not the real helo).

I'd say that the kit is well done with no big fitting problems.
Depending on the level of detail you want this helo can be built OOB, add resin and/or PE parts and scratch build additional parts (that's no news).

Bottom line: GO FOR IT! Wink [;)]

As Avus said, it is a great kit.  Can be made into a nice model OOB, or you can superdetail it.  It is up to you.  Here is mine.

More here.

You can read about it here, at HKN.

Thanks guys for the info. Now can you tell me about hobig this kit is when built? I try to have a case built before I put one together. They are easy to make and I don't want my work covered with dust. To me dust is the enemy!

Pretty big.  Fuselage is about 18" long.  Rotor blade sticks out in front about another 5".  Rotor diameter is about 12".
