I used the Krylon Ultra Flat Black Camo spray paint for my MH-60L DAP.  I think it came out looking great and it looks accurate to me.

More here.

The Krylon Green Camo color does look good for Helo Drab as well.  Grant and I discussed this some time ago and came to the same conclusion.

Do you think the flat black would work for the AH60L DAP Blackhawk. Somebody mentioned they used an ultra flat back on this but didnt say what kind

I thought you guys would like to know about this,so I just had to share it with you.

The price is not bad, I paid $4.35 for the can I bought. A pritty good deal I think becouse you get more paint for your buck and testors and the other model companies that make spray paint that I know of don't make a color that close to helo drab in a spray.  There cans are much smaller and cost roughly the same.

I can't say how happy I am to have found this product.   I painted one of my old black hawk kits and it looks just like the ones on the flight line at our Army airfields to me.    I have desided to paint my Trump CH-47D with it when I finally get it.

Enjoy and Merry Xmas Guys!!!

Nah... $3, $4 bucks if remember right. and it's a "regular" size can, not a hobby sized can.

Home Depot carries 'em. The OD is a good match for Helo Drab that's faded and weathered.

Olive drab spray by Krylon.

Hi gang!!

I made a discovery today.   I came across a series of camo colors in the Krylon spray paints.   They make Lt gray.Dk gray, Dk brown,Lt brown, flatblack, desert tan and most important olive drab.

There version of olive drab very very closely matches Army helo drab.

I bought a can of it today and tryed is out and I love it.  It is super flat and goes on smooth and dries fast too.

I am gonna try painting one of my helo kits with it and see how it will look.  I have no doubt that it will look great.  This is a very welcome product for me.
