Hey Gang!!!!

I just got some AWSOME news from Sprue Bros!!!   They got there Trump Hooks this evening!!!   Mine Is packed and ready to board the big brown truck tomorrow!!!!   It's party time!!!!  Now where's my oxygen!!!!   I won't sleep tonight!!  To excited to sleep.

I hear ya Chief.....all I'm going to do on this one is cut off the two green house windows to a more proper angle at the front.

What do you make of those rivets or what ever on the main cargo floor? will those need to be sanded down some ....seems odd. 

 I also noticed there are enough 'non bubble' windows for the fuselage and that the clear canopy piece is very nice, clean and CLEAR! 

The main fuselage body parts are much thinner than I expected.

Looks like its going to be a great kit ( minus the obvious mistakes ) and I'm sure that Frank and some others once they have the kit will set up a REMOVE, CHANGE and REPLACE guide for this thing.

That straight and perfect sound proofing has to go!!

I'm not going to rush this kit at all......I'll build this one with benches then do the 1/48 as the GO GO Hook.   That way we get what we want without too much scratch building. I'm getting kinda tired of spending 6 to 12 months on kits.

Man this thing is HUGE!!!! and with a little work and careful sanding the seem should look very natural.

Yup, saw Chief's post at HKN that he got his.  Can't wait foir mine.  Wondering when his shipped so I can get an idea of when to expect mine.  The wait is killing me!!!

Got an email from Sprue Bros. and they got my payment For my Trump Hook A   and they also told me that there shippment  of Hooks should be in Trursday or Friday of this upcoming week!!!  WOO BABY!!!  I am one happy dude!!!!!!    SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!!

Hi gang!!

I just had a nice thought.    Seems that 2006 is the year of the Chinook!!

With Trumpeter releaseing there 1/35 A and D models  and Italeri anounceing there 1/48 GoGo this summer and maybe a D and hopefully an E some time by Xmas 06 and also all the aftermarket goodies that we all should soon see  for all these fine kits, Looks like the ship for all us Hookers has finally arrived!!!

Oh Yeah!!!   2006 is gonna be a GREAT year for Hookers!!

Next years big one will be Revell of U.S. HUGE 1/72 Gato class WWII sub, thats 51 inches long man!!!
