The 20th SOS carried both types of markings, depends on the time period, found pictures of both styles in one of the Squadron books

I think the decals in the Heller kit are more accurate for a USAF UH-1N

Depends on the kit.  Early Heller ones were Italeri reboxes.  Later on, Heller did their own with some updates/modifications.  I think they still used/copied mostly Italeri parts for their new one though.
