Trump HOOK aft pylon suggestions
Posted by Papa-Echo-64 on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 9:18 PM

I was twiddling around with the 1/35 Hooks pylon parts and main halves fit and could not help but notice that the exterior seam will be a lot tighter and look much better if the inner lip on the plyon parts were sanded off just a c hair and attaching the pylon halves to the fusalage parts will let you have more control of how well and tight they glue together.

UPDATE: I goofed.....Trump does have you attach the plyon halves to the fusalage halves first then the two main sections go together in the traditional manor.

Happy building!

yup!

Other than the obvious kit mistakes it really is a nice model. Can't wait to dig in!

I guess I'll have a long wait until Hobby Lobby has them in stock and a 50% Off Sale!  Either that or start selling off some inventory!  Ha, ha!  I wonder how much I could get for the old Aurora helicopter kits I have.

Clear Left!

Hey Mel!!

I see that you are a fellow Louisianian !!   I'm in the Leesville area.

Jon Primm  is in youngsville I think.

Is Hobby Lobby getting Trumpeter kits now??  I go to the one in Alexandria and I haven't seen any Trump kis there yet.

The 1/35 Trump Hook is a great kit!!   I got mine yesterday and I am a very happy camper!!Big Smile [:D]   Those red fruit bags look to work fine for the troop seating!!

Hi All.

You guys enjoying your Trump Hook???

I sure am!!    I scraped the single wheel rear struts that I made.  I am working on a new set.   I will share some pix of them when I get them made.    I can't master posting my pix on here so if you guys want to see them let me know and I will email them to you.
