Thanks Frank!

When that time comes we will need to get that kind of info to Two Bobs.....in 1/35 I do not believe that size would be too small and having some 'basic' interior decals would cool.

papa-echo out.

Hi Troy,

Yes, that's "Easy Money", taken from the Right Seater on "Co$t of Living", the late Lt. Paul Hicks, as they were getting ready to roll in on a target.

And yes, Chinooks had the emergency exit signs there too. Smile [:)]

Take care,

Frank

Looks great Frank; in fact, I agree it looks better than the original box art!

Looks sharp.  If you can do that well just with the box art, I'm looking forward to seeing you build the kit!

I'm looking to get one of these for myself as well, to go next to my -53E and -46 on the flightline/shelf when they're all completed.

Hehe, makes one wonder how far we will be able to trust the pictures of the finished model doesn't it Smile [:)]

Just kidding Frank...

I guess that at some point we will have one or two 1/35 HOOK 'on the bench builders section' at the top of the Helo board?

With up to the minute: NEW detail set reports, I did it this way and the on going how to improve threads.

He has already done one.

Frank is recognized as a genius for what he accomplished with the Aurora kit. I don't have the link handy, but if someone comes up with it, you should check it out. Amazing work.

That's right, I remember following his updates on that old Aurora kit.  I know that if Frank says it's a certain way, you can take that to the bank, which is why I'd be interested in seeing what he could do with a new tooling, hopefully better kit.  As a matter of fact, I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of the people on this forum churn out Chinooks...it'll be great motivation for when I tackle one...Of course, if I can get all the parts to stick in the right spots, I'll be happy.
