Nope, to have a clickable link, simply copy and paste the url into your post, like this:

http://www.armorama.com

For a word that links to the site, you use the following code:  [url =url to linksite] link name or text[ / url]  as such  [u rl=http: // www. armorama .com]Armorama.[/url]  (again, without spaces)

Gives you this:

Armorama

do you have to place the [ img] code to post a link to a site as well?

Yeah...I'll bet it was just super...unless of course you were a Kurd, or a Shite, or not a Baathist, or spoke your mind, or disagreed outloud with the ruling party....

In any case, nice shots of the 212s.

Well Sir:

The comment about Baghdad was meant to be humorous - the fact we could get Rum and beer was a nice thing. In no way was it meant as a statement of support for the previous regime. In the future I will put all jokes in ( ) and label them as such.

The policies of this forum preclude me from commenting further and rightly so. This is not a forum for political debate and I appologize to any I have offended with my, perhaps, flippant remark.

Sorry if I touched a nerve.

I am an idiot.

When you go to photobucket - instead of clicking and pasting from the URL go to the bottom and click on IMG copy that paste here and it works - no [ img] [/img ] to enter it is all there -must be the KISS method.

These are some the UN helicopters based on El Rasheed IAF base just to the southeast of Baghdad used by the UN during the WMD search in Iraq just before the last fracas. Baghdad was a nice place then. There was beer and rum and everything!

We used to fly in formations of 9  3 UN 212s 3 UN Mil 8 3 IAF MIL 8 trailing in the rear. It was like herding cats!

Click on the Edit tab on your toolbar (top left on screen) and it will let you.  Doesn't allow you from right clicking on the mouse for some reason and no tabs for it in the post /edit box.

You are not placing the url in the right place.  The tags should look like this:

{img]place url here{/img]

Use the square bracket [ though as opposed to the curved ones {.  Can't show it with all square ones or you will get the red "X".

It goes between the img tags, like this:

[ img]http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e68/midcanada/61andBearsGuyDupontcredit.jpg[ / img]

Removing the spaces in the img tags give you this:

And this:

That's what I am doing above. Get the dreaded red X box

If I don't [ img] [ /img] with no spaces the photo does not appear but will if you click on it. (see below)

I am dazed and confused as usual.

You have to take the pic's url adn place it between the following code, minus spaces: [ i mg] [ / img]

The insert picture tab is no longer there.  It was part of the old website.  Now you have to do it manually as above.  The red "X" box appears when the pic doesn't work in the post.
