AMT/ERTL. Where?
Posted by AirMedical on Friday, March 10, 2006 8:28 AM
Were's AMT/Ertl that make the aircraft models out of?  Is it the same as the automotive out of Iowa?
Can't seem to find the aircraft model contact info or web page.  Anyone have a kit with that info?
 TIA.

I'm not sure but they may have gotten out of the aircraft model business.  I haven't seen anything for several years after their F7F, P-40, and A-20 series of aircraft models.  I think Italeri is putting out one of the A-20's.  I bet it will be the same molds.

Clear Left!

Really!?  I know I've been away for a while but I didn't think I've been gone that long.  Shesh!  That would explain the AMT/Ertl web page being nothing but car, tractors, sci-fi and such.

Check six,
John

They stopped making a/c models soon after they were bought by Racing Champs, whose sole market at that time had been making die-cast cars

Woah!   Just out of curiosity, when did that all take place?
