I didn't see anything about the Subject line to comment on.  Just your photo album.

Hmm?  I was just wondering if anyone has built this kit and if they had any problems with the fit and finish. Aparently from what the LHS said its out of production?

Ok, I figured it out it's the MD-530 G.  The missing "0" had me stumped, I see 53 and think big monster helicopter, not the tiny 500!  I have a Hawsegawa 1/48th kit but not the Dragon 1/35th.

Never built it, but it is similar to Dragons "Little Bird" kit, was the export version, only one or two actually saw an Army servive and that was for evaluation

Same basic kit as Dragons AH-6J Little Bird, OH-6A, and other MD-500 varients.  They are all great kits.

Pharoah

I have built several of these kits in 1/35 in all thier guises, and I can tell you they are fine kits with one caveot:  the windsheild bubble needs strip stock added at the upper and lower ends to fit in there right.

On my Miss Clawd and MH6 I was able to put the floor tray in AFTER i got the fuse halves together, ad then add the canopy.  Work from bottom to top and then nail down the sides.  Will take a bit of careful putty work but not hard at all.

Check out my site and you will see some of them built up in the 1/35 scale gallery:
