Mark.....

Have you gave any thought to cutting off thin sections of round styrene tube that just fits over the gear struts you made......adding some detail to them?

I also wonder if there are any 1/48 scale aircraft that might have landing gear struts that just might work as well???

Hey Troy!!

I'm still working on my Hook and it is looking great!!   It's a very fun project.   I removed the left front emergency exit pannle for the left gun station yesterday. After cleaning up the edges on the pannel and the opening,It looks perfict!!   I am wondering something though. Do the crewmen carry the pannels with them on fights or do they leave them back at base??  I noticed that there are many interier markings on the decal sheet but there is no guide to show where they go. :(  Sucks!!    I'm working on the interier at the moment and I can't wait to get started on the troop seating!!   I am waiting for my sheet styrene I just order fron Squadron. I am undecided how to have the seats dissplayed, down are folded up for internal cargo??   Lets hear some votes from all you Hookers out there to help me decide!! :)    OH yeah!!   I just finnished sanding and filling the nose and removeing those antenna post mounts. I don't recall seeing them on the A and B models.    When that D model is finally released I plan on getting one along with an A model and doing a CH-47B from Nam that was named Wild Thang.   Do any of you know this Hook??
