not too many pictures of those helicopters. I saw a present day picture of the wreckage from one. It's still there, covered in barbed wire.

Best 1/48 Blackhawks are the Academy/Minicraft kits.  I believe that the Revell and Italeri kits are the same model, just reboxed by Revell with different decals.

For an Operation Gothic Serpent (Somalia) hawk, you need an MH-60L model.  Cobra Company has SOAR decals available in 1/48 scale for them.

Hi all. I want to do a 1/48 SOAR bird as in Somalia. I have a couple of questions:

Which is the better or more accurate kit between Italeri or Revell to do this bird?

Are there decals readily available?
