YEEE  HAW!!!!!!!  What more can I say??   Been waiting for this one a long time !!!!    Just came from Trumps site before I loged in here.  Seeing the pix of it was a very sweet treat!!   Can't wait to get one!!

Yep!! no troop seats so I will be making another set.  The interier sure looks naked without them.     The D should be more accurate sence it looks like Trump did most of its research on the D and just made a few basic parts to backdate it to an A model.  One thing that I noticed is that the tires In the D kit are bigger and that is good to know.

My A is coming along nicely!!  It should look like a true CH-47A once I'm done.

Might have to start gathering infos on how to convert a Delta to a SOF Echo (MH-47E).
This big helo would complete my SOAR collection ... actually all  the other ones (AH-6J and MH-60L) are still boxed except one (MH-6J)! Blush [:I]

I used to work on MH-47E's, so I'd LOVE to build a conversion. So if anyone knows any planned conversion kits, please post it here. Thanks for the info!

I used to be a MH-47D Flight Engineer, Platoon Sergeant in B/2/160th  and was the NCOIC for Qualtity Control for 2/160th, when were you with them?

Awesome to hear from another Nightstalker! I sent you an email, sorry but I'm paranoid about posting personal info in forums. Drop me a line and we can see about doing some conversions. Maybe we could start a group build or something for MH-47 conversions? I'm no good at vacuforming or casting, and would appreciate all the help I could get.

Interesting suggestion.
I make some conversions and cast resin parts, not for a living but for other modellers, currently I'm on a Blackhawk interior detailing: roof and bulkheads.
So if I can lay my hands on good hi-res pics or even better schematics I'll see what i can do for a MH-47E conversion.
Please bare in mind that to me it's a hobby so I'll take my (biblical) time to work on models.
