I'm trying to get info on the overall gray, Federal Standard, color for the CH-53E, and MH-60G Pave Hawk a/c.

Current HH/MH-60Gs are overall Gunship Gray, FS#36118; also called AFSOC (Air Force Special Operations Command) Gray since AFSOC is taking over as the lead agency for CSAR in the USAF.

Navy/Marine low-vis is upper surfaces in Medium Gray, FS35237, lower and verticle surfaces are Light Ghost Gray, FS36375.

Actually, ACC has CSAR now. Switchout happened a couple of months back. It's been going back and forth between the two commands the last few years like a tennis ball. But it's still the same gray. ACC also uses it on the B-1, B-2, B-52, F-15E and it's the dark color on F-16s. So "technically", they're all HH-60Gs - again.

Man, this is harder to keep up with than all the transformation of units currently taking place in the Army.  Is it called a  Modular BDE, Unit of Action, or Brigade Combat Team today????  Makes your head spin.Black Eye [B)]Confused [%-)]

For Navy/Marine Corps 2 tone gray camo 2 good colors are Tamiya XF-20 (Medium Grey) for the lower and verticle surfaces, and Tamiya XF-23 (Light Blue) for the upper surfaces.

It worked well for me.
