Kamov Ka-50 "Werewolf" patch
Posted by Jagdwolf on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 9:41 PM

While I was putting together my small collection of Kamov 'Hokum' kits (Esci's Ka-34, Italeri's Ka-50, Dragon's Ka-50, and Revell-Germany's Ka-50), a relative of mine in Germany sent me some Russian aviation magazines covering this particular heli in great detail (though trying to translate the text was interesting, to say the least), along with something to really spruce up the display for Italeri's 1/48th scale Ka-50: two copies of the patch worn by "Werewolf" test pilots in excellent condition. The patch features a snarling wolf's head in green against a black background, with the words "Military Helicopter" written in Cyrillic above. As the export model is known as the Black Shark, would be nice if I can find a patch for that as well. Big Smile [:D]

Very cool. Any chance you could scan them and post them?
