                        Okay, on the starboard side there appears to be an electrical panel for the weapons system between the mount brackets and ammo chute (rectangular box) - but on the port side I see no panel.

                        Is it a cirular panel just forward of the ammo chute? Or is it between or behind the weapons mouning brackets of the fuselage?
                        3d modelling is an option a true mental excercise in frusrtation

                        HUH?
                        From experence I would guess it is an electrical panel, there is usually no need for one of those on both sides of an aircraft, especially if it powers one system, i.e. weapons.

                        Since the mounted weapons system is on both sides of the craft, I didn't think that tje wiring would be strung through or underneath to a single point. Photos suggest that there are 2 outlets (one on each side) for the XM weapons systems to be plugged into, I am just trying to find out where
