                        Goodmorning friends,

                           I afraid I must be the bearer of some bad news here this morning.... according to reports, one of the "Nightstalkers" new MH-47G's went down Thursday enroute to Ft. Rucker, killing four crewmembers.    There was one survivor; the article appears in the link below:

                           The victims were from 3rd Battalion, 160th.     I know that the members of 4th Battalion (Guns A Go-Go) are on PCS until the 11th or 12th, but unaware if any of them were involved.    Awaiting the release of names. Sad [:(]

                        May they rest in peace.  Condolences to their families as well. 

                        I saw the news report, but didn't connect it.  I think they only said it was a CH-47 that went down.

                        It was a sad day around here.  They were on their way to pin wings on one of their own at graduation.  Haven't heard much else.

                        Deepest sympathies to their families and friends.
