i just got this kit and wow it's a beauty. i have found one inacuracy in the paint scheme that i can correct. my question is, are there any other obviouse inacuracies i should look out for before i start it?
Any thing can be fixed with enough gun tape and para cord

the hoist is also a little inacurite and backwards in the kit

As far as i know, revell and italeri kit are all the same.

- side windows are weird and unacurate, replace them

- cockpit, seat position, cyclic stick, instrument panel, arrange from photo reference material

- overhead switches - missing in the kit

- many many connections and holes on the outside of the fuselage, generaly inaccurate

I recomend getting yourself Eduard PE set, well worth its money.

canadian birds are all different and i have not found reference images of 149901 any where.

The problems that i had with my Merlin are almost sure the ones you are going to have to face.

thanks for the pics and the antena on the side is wrong to on the kit. it's sad how the best canadian forces kits are so inaccurate (at least as aircraft go). the all yellow scheme seemed interesting and in my experience the interior configurations of our sar birds change so i can have a bit of artistic license.
