Hey Guys and Gals;

  Last weekend I won a Bullfrog in a raffle. Only payed $1.25 for the ticket.!!!!!!!!!Tongue [:P]. Been wanted to get this kit for a long time, but been short on modelling funds.Question is, I've read a lot of reviews,is there any hidden problems that YOU guys incountered.I know about the pin marks, and yes they do look interesting.Just curious of what you think.TIA, Barry.

Take it easy on the salt !!

What are you afraid of? And where did you get your training to judge me?

Nice win! Haven't started on my Bull Frog yet, so can't comment on build issues too much, but it all looks fairly straight forward. Have you tried doing a search on Hyperscale? Someone's bound to have done a build on there.

Hey,

As a Phrog doc I was happy with the kit. I had to build it twice since both my squadrons (HMM-261 and most recently HMM-162 in Iraq) decals are in the kit!

 The pin marks are the most prevalent problem. I filled them on one kit. On the other kit I built a diorama from when we were flying CASEVAC in Iraq. I strategically staged medical and personal gear on the ramp to hide the pin marks.

Ditch the guns that come with the kit! Those are the worst .50's I have ever seen. I think it qualifies as plastic abuse.......... The troop seats and litters (stretchers for you non-medical types...just kiddin') are also kind of cheesy and are better being scratchbuilt. It's really simple with a little foil and plastic rod.

The interior just begs to be super detailed and there is plenty of room to work

Have a blast and when you are done build the 53 and Cobra to complete the set and go composite.Smile [:)]

I got my set from my LHS but you can get a set at the following link from Sqaudron.

http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=VE1267

The set is actually a combo .30 and .50 set. It has good detail and photo etch ammo belts. It is 25.96 on-line. Got mine local for about $12.00.
