About the Trumpeter HH-65:

The Trumpeter kit is based on the SA365N, that actually has a smaller fenestron. The HH-65 has a newer, bigger Fenestron. The other important difference between the HH-65 and the Dauphin that's subject of the Trumpeter kit is the engine-housing: the housing on the HH-65 has a different shape.

Interior detail on the Trumpeter kit is minimal. I have built several of them. They go together pretty well, but I have mixed feelings seeing it on my shelf: somehow the thing just doesn't seem to "sit right" on its wheels and the frontal part (windscreen and pilot doors) seem too wide to me. One the other hand: it's the only AS365N available in 1:48, so I'm glad it is here.

Good Luck!

Gramps is not only correct in the "seen it" category,  I have it, (Violating my own rule against diecast I knowDunce [D)])
It is not a quick build! You will require four arms and the patience of the pope to get it together.
BUT. . .up on the shelf it looks pretty cool, like the HH65 used to look when she was whiteBoohoo [BH].

has anybody built the testors MH-68A or the trumpeter HH-65A? i've looked into getting both of these kits and would like to know how well they build, as well as how accurate they are. Thanks
