Hobby Lobby 1/3 off sale

Gotta love Hobby Lobby for their 1/3 - 1/2 off sales.  Also gotta love when they mis-price models.  I regularly check them no matter where I'm working.  I was out in Lincoln, NE and stopped in.  They had the 1/48 HH/CH-46 Bul Frog marked at $29.99.  They also had the Acedemy F-16C Block 40/50 marked at $47.99.  With the 1/3 off sale, I picked up both.  I've also picked up the F-16C once before at a different one where they had it marked for $59.99 with the 1/2 sale. 

And although I never go one, and I should have, I've seen the 1/32 F-117 [they had about 7 of them] marked for $7.99 [clearance].  It's like the owner of my LHS said "They dont know jack about models, they dont know what they have, and they dont know what they should charge."  Now if only they would get a 1/35 Chinook in.  Lets see, 1/2off should be good.

I went ahead and purchased the Academy (not Tamiya... oops) F-16, and a Revell 1/48 B-29 as well.  At the register, the cashier pulled a 40% off coupon from her pocket, and graciously applied it towards the F-16.  So I ended up with the F-16 for $55 and the B-29 for $25.  I'll use the 50% off internet coupon for the 1/48 B-1, if it's still there.  Thanks for the heads up!

Ooops!  Should have waited!  50% off Internet Coupon on Plastic Models at www.hobbylobby.com  starting the 19th.  That Father's Day Gift Card at Hobby Lobby will come in handy!  Had my eye on the F-16 too!
