The Revell kit is very good.  It uses the old Monogram kit as the basis for it but has new sprues for the Longbow.  It is also the ONLY one that has the proper sensors for the British version.

Anthony,

If you're an ebayer, you may be able to pick up the British version of the Hasegawa Apache pretty cheap.  I've gotten three off of there for no more than $20US each.  The British WAH-64D version is the exact same thing, just has British and Dutch decals, but the kit is a US bird.  None of the special mods on the foreign birds are included.

As far as the better of the two aforementioned kits, the Italeri is the only one you can build a production machine from.  The Academy kit is the prototype and needs extensive modification and a completely new cockpit to be accurate.

Academy

I know Hasegawa released one but that is out of my price range and it is out of stock...

Wow, did not even know we had a Helicopter forum lol...

So far I have been told that the Italeri kit is much better...

Thanks, Anthony
