Thank you for publishing those pics. Can't wait for mine to arrive. If there is any interest, i'll do an in-box review, for those who wonder about the contents.

The new pics confirm what I stated before: great work!
All those "remove before flight" tags are sweet, too.

Superb build! I saw one of these at the last UK Nats and its one heck of a sweet kit. The only thing stopping me from buying one is the price..........

I'll try to forget you mentioned ebay :) Please do, post more pics. So it fits together great? I'm used to tricky windows, that has never been a problem. Does it have any mesh in PE's? The real Lynx has a lot of that.

It is well worth it.  I however did not pay the retail price for it. I found it on Ebay for about half the price.  It goes together great.  The windows are a little tricky to work with.  The TOW missile system is something of a puzzle to figure out, but hey I like a challenge. I will try to take some more pics of it tomorrow and post them here.

Cheese and rice! Wow! I would very much like to see the builds that beat this one out. Given the photos, and the difficulty of building resin kits, you have my absolute admiration. Very nice rendition.

theranddav, it is all your fault! I was nerveous for the past 7 hours, i didn't know what to do. This helo was a dream of mine when i saw it 2 years ago as a demo model. I didn't knew they are selling it. I was checking it on Accurate armour, wondering what the price with S&H was, and before i knew it it was "Thank you for placing your order" all over the screen. And i went well over budget, hope you can place some good words on the model, on the building, accuracy and so on... :D Just say it is worth it.

I did not place with the Lynx.

There were alot of good helos at the show.  I was not surprised that I did not place as there was some tough competition.

1st Place -       Mil Mi-4       1/35th

2nd Place-      AH-64D        1/48th

3rd Place-      AH-64D         1/48th  (not the same as above)

Out of Box Award-      HTL-4  Patrol  Helicopter

Premiere  Award-         HNS  Hoverfly

Great build!

I've seen some other pics of it from the show.

To bad the kit is so expensive...

BTW what place did it take?

Who took the first one?

Woha, what a helo. That is very rare to see, maybe the price is the reason. Even trumpeter helos in 35th scale are cheap stuff compared to this 135 pounder :(

Outstanding work!
The "Union Jack" base is a sweet idea.

If the model wouldn't cost that much I'd build one, too. It has to be a great model.

1/35th Westland Lynx: More Pics

Here is a pic of my 1/35th Lynx taken at the IPMS National Convention held last week in Kansas City.

It is the all resin kit made by Accurate Armour. Very nice kit (the windows are a bit of a pain)
