1/48 GUNS A GO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOWZA!!!!! PARTS PICS!!!!!  This is what Trumpeter SHOULD have done in the first place and I can't see them but I hope there are detailed APU and aft tranny part 'inserts' for the rear ceiling.

No bottom center seams! but it looks as if there will be one where the transmission covers are...too bad....that was one of Trumps best part.  I'm going to do what Frank did with his MASTERFUL aurora build.....light that sucka!

The rear plylon trailing edge is a seperate section! cool cuz that can be touchy, especially with the apu exhaust port.

Looks good so far!

I can't wait!!!

Thanks Troy,

The inside lights really bring them to life... and highlights the interior detailing! Smile [:)]

I can't see them but I hope there are detailed APU and aft tranny part 'inserts' for the rear ceiling.

I didn't see them either, from what I could see... with the space that's apparent in the aft tranny area, it would be a great mounting surface for a Cobra Company update insert?

Shock [:O]

Speaking of updates, with the addition of pilot seats, a hoist assembly, window inserts, and troop seats, this would be a Slick "A"!

Take care,

Frank

Howdy Frank! Smile [:)]

It also looks like some of the panel lines are kinda wide.  I might fill them with magic sculpt then work in the new lines before it sets.....doing it after it sets may not be smooth enough.

I would love to do an diorama with this one....but crewmen in 1/48 is going to be kinda tricky.

I think a dust off or picking up some grunts on a hill would be cool.....I bet you have some photos a guy could work from....I'm thinking a 'real' moment in time kinda thing.

Man ....to build a Go Go hook is going to be sooooo far out!

While were on the subject:

Did the Guns a go go have a motto of any kind ( besides "What hydro leak?" and "When is chow?" )

I couldn't find anything new in the line of build ups or pics but I just called down to my local hobby shop and they said late August for the U.S. and its looking to be a 55.00 to 65.00 retail depending on where you buy it.

Golly gee wiz ....at that price it better be a decent kit!
