Looks great!

I used fine copper wires from the radio coil of a walkman, and twisted 3 or 4 individual strands together to form the cable for each radio. Then I just routed the cables together into a larger bundle like the real thing. Applied some white paint, a slight wash, and that was about it. Not bad for my first try, I definitely think I'll be adding more wiring like this to my future models.

I was talking with somebody the other day about the subject of... If you could have an actual aircraft to refurbish and take to shows and stuff (one within reason and budget)... What would it be? After thinking about it, I decided my choice would be a Little Bird replica. You wouldn't be able to duplicate one 100%, but you could get it very close. That would be a crowd pleaser at shows and a lot of fun to work on and fly.

What mode will it be?

there should be also small light and map holder attached to console between pilot seats. I dont know though if you wanna add it.

Talking about kit's issues....

1.Poor fit of clear part of windshield to frames. Needs A LOT of polishing after attaching.

2. Too short and really simplified tail rotor stub

I had to rebuild mine from Evergreen

3. 2 avionics boxes, position lights and wire antenna missing on the bottom of AC. Service grab-handle on the starboard side of  "doghouse"

It is a great kit.  Fits without and issues and is very detailed.  Only thing it is missing is decals.  Guess MRC didn't thnk the LittleBirds had any markings, they do.  Cobra Company has a pretty good sheet of 160th SOAR decals in the proper OD Green for it though.  You still need to get/make a black United States Army decal for the tailboom and black Bu #'s for the tail.

Really nice so far.  I like the worn features you added to the cockpit.  Is that a good fitting kit, I am thinking about buying it.

Keep the progress shots coming.  I've got two of these sweet kits that I'll be building sometime soon, and I can use all the inspiration and references I can get.
