VietNam CH-46 help needed.

Hi fellas,
I've just got a CH-46A Sea Knight off Ebay, but it came without some of the windows. Looking at some of the reference pics, it seems that the windows were quite often removed. Is this correct? I'm planning on arming it, so is there a particular window where the guns went, and which windows were "squared" out? or does it matter, there doesn't appear to be any regular pattern. Some ships seem to have the first two windows on each side like this. It seems that on the left hand side a gun was positioned in the emergency exit doorway and on the right is it the first or second window.Would this be correct?
And while I'm on, has the interior changed much from nam days to present( ie are the seating arrangements the same) as there doesn't appear to be many pics of Nam 46's and those that aren't very clear, yet there are plenty of modern day pics.
