Any word as to when they'll announce the winner?

Someone posted a picture of the CSAR-X mock-up over in the CSAR-X Group Build thread.

Is this the one you saw?  (scroll down toward the bottom)

I just returned from the AFA (Air Force Association) Convention in D.C.  All the players in the CSAR-X competition had booths there.  Some good designs out there.  Boeing and the US101 Team had full-size mockups as well.  The HH-47G looked good and gets my vote for sheer size and load capacity.  The HH-101 had an interresting set-up for the tail gun.  It is mounted on rails on the cabin roof so it can be pulled in and not have to be removed to load vehicles using the ramp.  The Sikorsky HH-92 looked good too.  Some interesting designs.  We'll see how it all falls out.
