Help! Need a 1/72 M-2 .50 Cal and a 1/72 7.62 Six Barrel Minigun for a modern Marines UH-1N

Hello,

I am looking to aquire a 1/72 M-2 .50 Caliber and also if possible a 7.62 Six Barrel Minigun for a Modern Marines UH-1N project I am planning in 1/72nd scale.  If anyone has a spare or knows of a weapons kit I would greatly appreciate it.  I hate to spend 10.00 for a armour kit with a Ma-Deuce and another 20.00 for a helicopter kit with a door mounted mini-gun.  Also, if anyone knows what the sensor is on the modern UH-1N Marine helos I would appreciate any information.  I am going to have to scratch build that for sure and I could probably scare up some info if I knew what it was called.

All help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Lewis

Cobra Company has a set of the miniguns and their mounts in resin.  No idea on any M2s in resin.

Aeroclub Models has the 1/72nd M-2 in white metal. You can find it here:

I've ordered several items from them and the biggest problem is that they are relatively inexpensive and you have to buy several items to get to their minimum cc order of £5. Not much of a problem at all, I stocked up on M-60's and GPMG's. The rest of their 1/72 weapons are here:

The Cobra Company mini-guns are for the M-134 system, so you'll have to make a mount for them. But they do look good and come with rocket pods that you might also be able to use.

What are these sets like? Do you get any mounts, ammo boxes for them or are they simply the weapon itself?
