Here's my latest helo build....Revell 1/48 HH-53C with Cobra Company MH-53J guns(and some of the Cutting Edge guns), Cutting Edge cockpit, some scratch built parts for the interior, and, a scratchbuilt interior!

Lemme know what you think, good, bad or otherwise!

great build for an old kit.  a while ago i read a book titled "The Last Battle: The Mayaguez Incident and the End of the Vietnam War"  it mentions the HH-53C and the CH-53 used by the Air Force.

Mikey,

Very nice!  I hope mine turns out half as good one of these years!  Thanks for sharing your pictures with us.  Sure will look good next to CH-53E!

Very nice work, mainly on the interior! Thumbs Up [tup]

A litle weathering and it would be perfect, but I know the kit is not up today's standards so weathering is hard.

Nice Work!!  I have four on the shelf and haven't started one yet. Too intimidated.

I took a lot of the reference photos Cobra Company used to make their resin/white metal detail sets. I even did the overhead area of the cabin since everything is so visible. (Got to find them one of these days!)  Neither me nor Cobra Company are sick enough to attempt to detail the overhead.

What did you use to make the litter?

Thanks for the replies fellas....

ipmsfl--

The litter is made from a little bit of plastic rod, and an old piece of window screen, the metal stuff, not the softer screen.

Oh yeah, Mikey, that thing's looking awesome.  It's ready to pluck some jet Jockey from the Jungle.  Great build with alot of detail in the cabin.  You took it to an awesome level.
