$25 CAD = $22 USD.  That is a pretty good price.  The kit usually sells for about $20-$25 USD in hobby shops.  It is a great kit.  Good luck on it.

How about 5 bucks for a 1/48 Monogram AH-1S?
Picked one up from a vendor at a local show last week, and I couldn't beleive it. For that price, I wish I could have picked up about a half-dozen!

BTW, both variants are BLACK inside and out and not the standard Army very dark olive drab.

The Cobra Company in the US makes a resin set for the 1/35 Scale  MH-6J Little Bird (MELB) that converts the kit from a gunship to a transport.  It includes a cockpit upgrade with optional seats, FLIR head and mount, APR-39 sensors, Doppler antennae and the Light Weight Plank System to carry the "passengers."  It is US $21.95 plus postage.

It will work on either the DML/Dragon AH-6J #3527 OR their MD500 Defender #3525.  Check it out at http://www.cobracompany.com/35003.htm. (I have no financial state in Cobra at all. I just buy a lot of their stuff!!!!)

The Cobra Company set is great.  I used part of it to build my MH-6J MELB.
