Hi Curtis,

Check out this thread from a few weeks back on page 3,  "UH-1D colours and weapons subsystems". it might be useful for you. I've posted some of the pics again. Cheers,  Rich

PS the figures are from SHQ miniatures here in the UK. Shipping and prices seemed pretty reasonable.

yeah, you're right. They are a little rough. Probably made more for the wargaming market than accurate modelling. They're certainly not as detailed as CMK resin set, but as far as I know they're the only ones. have you checked out www.plasticsoldierreview.com. They might have something on there you could modify. They show the sets of figures in close up so you have an idea of whet you're getting. Preiser do some good modern sets, but they're o US forces. Good luck anyway.

to bad. someone needs to specialize in 1/72, 1/48, and 1/35 scale doorguns and troops from the various armies that have troop helo's.

1/35 US doorgunners are pretty well covered.  Check here for more info.  Also, pretty much all militaries use the same flight suits for their aircrews.  You can use the same figures for most and just paint them differently to get other countries.

You'd think that one day a country would take modelers into consideration when they are choosing uniform styles.

easy: forest green, olive drabe (green), flat black, and nato brown.

i just need to figure out how to make the pockets on the uniforms and the cadpat to look digital.
