what-if ch-146 for kandahar
Posted by curtis remington on Thursday, December 7, 2006 6:19 PM

i'm going to build a "what-if" ch-146 griffion deployed to kandahar and was wondering what the most likely paint scheme, armerment, and other mods would be and also would the markings be the same black as they are now?

In all actuality, I'm betting that the color scheme would not change for a deployment to Afghanistan. Western armed forces really haven't taken up changing their paint schemes to match their operating environment since Desert Storm, aside from maybe a few spec ops birds. A quick Google image search does not reveal any Griffons in anything other than the Canadian green-scheme or SAR colors. Then again, if you are really doing a "what-if," you could paint it any scheme you like.

only reason i'm thinking a colour change would be done is because we painted the coyote's sand (but not the lav III's which is interesting).
