Unknownpharoah,
At 1/35 scale I'm afraid that it would be almost impossible! It was quit a task at 1/32.
On the 1/24 Huey:
For the Gaues I used some of the decal art from the 1/24 Huey kit, some from AUTO and other misc decals. Then I pre-drilled holes the size of the gauge face in .030 styrene ( I think? )...... drilled even smaller holes in the corners to give them that mounting screw look, glued clear styrene under the styrene, after that I used my trusty number 11 blade and cut around the holes creating the gauge frames, painted them and put them in place and thats how I did it. Then after few months of intense therapy I was fine.
The switches are misc wires using the wires insulation as the base for the switch and some other odd sized stuff and again decals from my misc decal grab bag that comes in very handy in times like this......of all the Kits in my closet some have turned into parts kits.
I would steel the consols/interior from a MRC kit......I have a 1/35 MRC Huey C kit that is 98% complete that I will send to you for 10.00 bucks including shipping.....do you use PAYPAL?
Hope that helps!
Straighten up and fly right.....
