UH-1D SLICK Door Gun Mounts?

Hello All

Soon i will be starting a Slick and will need to scratch build the doorgun mounts,

And i was wondering if anybody had any pictures of the mount and where ammo can sits?

All help would be very greatfull.

Can't help you with pics or specs, but Cobra Company makes a resin set, in case you don't want to build from scratch.

Just remembered. If you go over onto the ARC website and click on forum....helicopters, then there is a pinned thread entitled helicopter weapons systems at the top of the page which will also give you some extra info. here it is...

  Here is how we had most of ours in the summer of 1971, a loose mini-gun can for extra ammo storage and no flex chute, just your choice of soda, beer, or C-ration cans to help for a smooth ammo feed.  My "mug" shot!   You can check out the 174th AHC's web site at www.174ahc.org

Might have to go for the CC resin set Avus but i'll see how i go with a little scatch build first?
