Pure speculation, but there is a base much, much closer to Somalia that just about anything in the inventory short of a B-2 can be staged from...we're talking driving distance to the border...

I figured that the strikes were from one of the carriers in the region.  Not a lot being made about it in the news, is there?

some reports say AC-130, but others say helicopter gunships.........anybody know what the deal is, and if so, can you speak about it?  I'm interested!!!
