You can also still find the old (Late '70's-Early 80's) Revell 1/100 SH-3 on Ebay. I don't recall the version. I want to say that Tamiya put out an 1/100 SH-3, but I'm not positive.

Revell used to make a 1/144 scale HH-53C also but it is an OOP kit as of 2001. You can still het them from Kingkit in england. I have done my research and all the USA sourses and African and Australian sources were no longer able to get them. Of course like FITTER mentioned Revell Germany still puts out the CH-53G (A very nice kit!) I am currently upgrading the HH-53C to an MH-53M in 1/144 scale. Good luck on your searches.

I've seen some Revell-Germany kits in those scales, as well as a couple of Hobbycraft kits in 1/72. Sorry, can't recall the particulars. Guess that means a trip to the hobby shop tomorrow ! ! !

Revell makes a 1:144 scale CH-53 and a KA-50 (Russian)... I also have a UH-1N in the same scale, but I can't remember who made it. Maybe Fujimi?

Also, I believe it was AHM or Roco that made 1:87 (HO) AH-1G and UH-1D kits to go with their line of H.O. armor models.

Small Scale Helicopters

I like helicopter models, but usually the size deters me from building them. I have collected up the old Accurate Miniatures/Revell lne of 1/100 helicopters like the SH-60 Sea Hawk, HH-60 Night Hawk and UH-60 Black Hawk as well as the AH-1G Cobra and UH-1 (C or D?) Huey. I also found an old Entex 1/100 OH-58 (I think it may be smaller than 1/100). I recently picked up the Revell 1/144 CH-47 and the 1/144 DML AH-64 Longbow Apache.

Anyone else know of any small scale (1/100 or 1/144) helicopters (US mainly) that are kicking around?
