Is this just a re-box of the Italeri kit, and if so is it any good?????

The NEW release is just that - all new and accurate tooling. All other legacy Tiger/Tigre kits can now be discarded (unless you're interested in modelling mock-ups and pre-production concepts.)

Nope! That's the original 1989 boxing. It is AWFUL!  I've spent tons of time trying to correct the errors in that kit and have basically given up.  The tail is the complete wrong shape, there is no cockpit interior and even with an update set to make it an Aussie Tiger, it still falls far short.

HTH,

Jon

So I got the 1/48 kit anyway (thanks for the replies though).  It's the fourth Italeri chopper I have to build, and the fit on the others isn't that great either.  Good practice at scratchbuilding at least.
