Every year I look at the new release list hoping and praying, finally got a 1/48th Hook after 30 years. Maybe next year, but I'm not holding my breath anymore

I'd like to see an AH-1T in 1/48. Only one i've ever seen was done by Italeri, but they've been long out of production.

Warmest regards,

Roger

I'd like to see an AH-1W Super Cobra, an HH-3F Pelican, the Coast Guard verison, and the Coast Guard HH-52 SeaGuard would be nice to see. Also the HH-60J Jayhawk and the CH-54 Skycrane.

As for the European helicopters I'd like to see the Lynx, the AB-109, and the Gazelle.

For me, I would have to pick a new tooled 1/48 AH-1W NTS version, with the option to open the engine access panels and display the engine.

Hmmm... how about a decent short-cabin Huey with lots of armament options, choice of rotor system and tail fin, and a really detailed interior?

Oh, and an AH-56.

:D

This is an old thread but I would like to see an HH-3E with engines. The only -3 that I know of is the Has SH-3H. I have 2 and am thinking of converting one to an H-3. Big project and lots of mods.

To go along with my collection of "F" models, I would like a "S-mod" AH-1 to come out in that scale. If I cant get it well then the Kiowa will do.

1/48 US Helicopter:

- Bell OH-58D (Saddly this is the one helo that has never seen this scale and if done right, would make an excellent counter part too Hasegawa's 1/48 AH-64A/D)

1/48 Russian Helicopter:

- Mil Mi-28N Havoc-B (I love Russian helo's, especially their latest gunship, next to Ka-50, Mi-24 and Mi-26 this is another top fav)

1/48 European helicopter:

-  Agusta A.129CMT Mangusta (This was hard, I truely want to see a Merlin, Lynx and new tooling of the Tiger as well. But lets be honest, the Mangusta would make an excellent helo kit in this scale)

Gotta go with the CH-54A/B, H-3 series (USAF, USCG versions) and the OH-58D.  Russian Ka-50, Mi-28 and Mi-8.  European Lynx (accurate RN and Army versions), EH-101 and Tiger.  There are so many more that I would like to see but I'm playin' by the rules, only 3 choices each.  Hey folks we yelled loudly for a CH-53E and a CH-47.  Low and behold we got 'em!  Lets keep up the noise.

AH-1Z..................Italeri's Viper is atrocious -- we need a production model

Ka-52...................Dunno why, I just find this two-seater fascinating

Eurocopter Tiger.....Hoping the new, lauded 1/72 kit is upscaled

I would like to see a new UH-34. Since the Revell molds have been deemed no longer usable we don't even have that old kit to work with any longer.

I agree with Grandad.

The Revell H-19 is showing it's age and there is no interior to speak of, Ditto for the H-34, I haven't seen the FM H-21 so I can't comment on it but it would be nice to have new tool kits of all those aircraft

A CH-37 would be nice in 1/48th but I would be happy to see one even in 1/72nd (if it was done as well as the Italeri H-19, H-34 and H-21 in that scale)

Surprisingly, I'm finding myself voting for the OH-58D in the US category.  Everything else either has some variant of a kit or will have one relatively soon.  There is no 48th scale Kiowa Warrior out there and it is a subject that is sorely lacking.

For Russian and European, again, I've gotta go Attack and say the Mi-28N and Mangusta.
