HH-60G in-progress
Posted by HeavyArty on Sunday, February 11, 2007 4:09 PM

I have begun work on my 1/35 HH-60G from Davis-Monthan AFB in OIF in a 3-tone sand scheme.  It started life as the Academy MH-60G kit.  I am super-detailing this one inside and out.  I am using the Cobra Company MH/HH-60 upgrade set, along with a bunch of scratch-building and some items I have received from other modelers.

Here is how I intend on it looking.

CC MH/HH-60 set:

The cream colored parts are from the CC set.  The white parts are scratch from sheet styrene.  Here are the pics on progress so far.  I hope to start painting it later this week.

I'll post more as I get it done.

Did you build the stokes basket or is that available somewhere?

If you built it I'd love some tips on how you did it.

It looks like you are off to a good start.

Thanks guys.  The Stokes litter was built by another modeler.  I don't know if he has any more or is still making them.  I will ask him and get back to you.

I'd be happy with just a how too, but if there is someone selling a real wire litter that works too. He did a great job on it.

Looking good so far Gino. Keep the pics coming. How do you manage to build so many kits so quickly? or is it that I'm just a really slow builder? Is this model for you or is it for someone else?

Can't wait to see it built.

Rich

Thanks guys.  The model is for myself.  The maker of the stokes litter is Joe Szczygielski, a.k.a. Mother at Armorama.  You can contact him there if interested.
