Helicopter Model Spare Parts
Posted by skypirate1 on Saturday, February 17, 2007 4:58 PM

Hi

Thought it might be an idea to start a thread for swaps of spare parts

i have a few spare bits sitting gathering dust and thought they might come in handy for someone.

I have a couple of bits from..

Revell 1/32 UH-1H gunship: the M6 Quad M60C 7.26mm machine guns, and mounts, Ammo box and bullet belts. AGAB anti tank missiles on M22 guided missile launchers  if i dont use the doors they will be up for grabs too, i probly wont use most of the decals.

Revell 1/32 AH/1G Cobra: 2 x XM14 Gunpods & Mounts

MRC 1/35 UH-1C Heavy Hog. M200 19 tube rocket launchers and some decals

If anyone could get any use out of them let me know.

If anyone hasnt used the miniguns from the 1/35 MRC Frog or has some spare Air Cav decals i would be very grateful Smile [:)]

Andy

Great idea, Skyprirate1. I built a Revell S-55/H-19 for my Dad back in the 80's. He flew them for the Marines in Korea (and B-25/PBJ's in the So Pacific in WWII). Somehow,  the left rear wheel/tire and landing strut got broken off and lost. I would like to repair. Does anyone have a spare? Thanks.

Great idea guys, however, it is not allowed at FSM.  Take a look at the Forum rules:

5. Advertisements. If you would like to advertise a product that your commercial company manufactures, or if you are an individual private seller, you can buy a classified ad in the magazine or an ad on the Web site. This includes all buying, selling, and trading. Any posts that appear to be an advertisement or transaction will be deleted.

Since this site is supported by a magazine, FSM feels that any of the above activity may take away sales from their advertisers and their magazine.  Not my policy, and I don't really agree, but them are the rules.

Try Armorama's Buy, Sell, Trade forum or over at Heli Kit News.  There are great guys there as well and can usually help you out.

Thanks.

Hey guys, come on over to Aircraft Resource Center. Click on the "forum" tab on the menu at the top.

It's run by modellers, for modellers -- hence the realization that we do actually trade and buy from each other. There is a very healthy Buy/Sell/Trade forum active over there, and a good forum for us rotor-wing modellers, too. I've been spending a lot more time over there than here, lately, and just purchased a few good kits from a great forum regular. See you there.
