Great!  The CD and Dremel combo looks like a good plan.  Thanks, Jon.

David,

What I would like to do is to make, as realistic as possible, the interiors of the sighting devices.  I am thinking that I need to do more than just put a clear green or blue finish on the lens glass.  Anyway, just looking for ways to improve the sights.

One of the guys over on ARC just completed a spectactular AH-64A in 32nd and I was able to use some of his techniques on the 48th Longbow I've got building.  For the TADS and PNVS windows, (the FLIR windows, not the day side assembly) he used sections of a cut up CD.  I whipped out my Dremel and started shaping the windows and it works REALLY well.  Of course, getting one as small and curved as necessary for the PNVS window was a challenge, but it looks GREAT!

Hey guys.  I got great help on canopy framework detailing and now I need something similar on the Apache TADS.  I have looked at walkaround pictures till I am blue in the face but just can't figure out how best to replicate the TADS on a model.  Any help on this will be appreciated.
