First time on the forums. I am new back to the hobby (only since November) This is my 4th model since I returned and my first bird in nearly 25 years. I am currently deployed with the 26th MEU and modeled this after a bird that is on the flight deck. I appreciate any input (if I figure out how to post photos).

Some techniques I used for this model.
Painted almost entirely with Delta Ceramcoat acrylics. All of the grays are custom mixed to closely match the actual aircraft.
Used preshading with testors flat black and post shaded with custom delta ceramcoat blue-gray.
Sand coating is a light mist of Delta ceramcoat sandstone mixed about 90%thinner and 10% paint. Thinner is blue window cleaner.
Sooty areas behind the engines are graphite shaved from a number 2 pencil
Cutom stencils are the HMM-264 knights head and the "EH" on the tail boom.
The number 32 is also a custom cut stencil
The inside of the cockpit is heavily weathered with a sandy like mixture of sandstone, windex and baking soda
I futured the wind screen to make it clear.
Lessons learned from this one.
Future the wind screen and use CA very sparingly to get the canopy to stay together.
I learned a lot during this build. I credit many of the modellers on this site who have been so friendly and forthcoming with tips and tricks.
Thanks and Semper Fidelis
